Introduced to Singapore in 1978, this ancient Chinese sport has grown into a worldwide event that features teams from the four corners of the globe.

Watch as these human powered boats race against one another. The races at Singapore Dragon Boat Festival 2015 take part on the Bedok Reservoir, a 20-minute taxi ride from the city, and the festival is a great spectator sporting event for elite travelers of all ages. Alongside the races, there will be a host of traditional rituals performed, which give the day a distinctively Asian flavor. The perfect way to soak up a little culture while watching highly skilled athletes battle it out on the water.
