Florida Keys - Xperience Florida Marine

Does time ever pass in the Florida Keys? One things for certain, once you arrive, you’ll always want to return. Check out some of the attractions in this laid back paradise. The Turtle Hospital (Located in Marathon)
Everyone knows about the famous beaches in the Florida Keys, but few consider that they are home to some of the most iconic reptiles in the world: the beautiful, endangered sea turtles. It was because of the plight of these poor animals that this former hotel was transformed into a hospital for wild turtles that are found sick or injured. After the visit you will be left with a whole new perspective on these animals and their conservation. Getting up close and personal with the hospitals “patients” is a memory that will last forever and is sure to make you an advocate for their care. The experience is particularly educational and fun for children, who can learn lasting lessons on the importance of conservation here.

Seven Mile Bridge (Located in Marathon)
It has been called the best drive in the U.S. That remains to be seen but it’s certainly the best spot to watch the sunset in the Keys. The spectacular show starts at 7pm until 9pm. On your visit you can observe manatees, boaters, sea turtles, and of course the beautiful sight of the sun sinking over the ocean. Speaking of which, from the vantage point on the bridge you can see the Caribbean and the Atlantic Ocean at their meeting point, each a different and spectacular shade of blue.

History of Diving Museum (Located in Islamorada)
When you tire of sprawling on the beach, head into this cool dark and interesting museum that features diving equipment dating back hundreds of years. Even non divers will be interested in the impressive collection of perfectly preserved artefacts and devices. Its size makes it a perfectly manageable excursion that won’t eat up your whole day. It’s definitely worth a visit.

The Rain Barrel Artisan Village (Located in Islamorada)
If you stress about the perfect gift to get your loved ones back home when you go out on vacation, this is a must stop for you. The Rain Barrel is home to dozens of local artisans who display their crafts, from jewelry making to glass blowing. The creativity and talent of the craftspeople is amazing and you will surely fall in love with their work. It’s a tranquil spot to browse interesting wares with absolutely no pressure to buy. Take a little piece of the keys home with you, and support the art of these talented individuals.
Laugh the night away at this offbeat and fun show. Featuring talented performers that are worthy of big stages, this cabaret is based on spot on and hilarious impersonations. The themes and content is a bit risqué, so it is best suited for older teens or no children at all. The food is widely lauded as some of the best in Key West, and the service is exceptional. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The audience is frequently engaged in the lively show and the atmosphere at the bar afterwards will inspire a night of dancing and enjoyment. Definitely an underrated spot that has an almost cult following, with visitors to the cabaret coming back year after year to watch their favorite performers.
