It has been called the best drive in the U.S. That remains to be seen but it’s certainly the best spot to watch the sunset in the Keys. The spectacular show starts at 7pm until 9pm. On your visit you can observe manatees, boaters, sea turtles, and of course the beautiful sight of the sun sinking over the ocean. Speaking of which, from the vantage point on the bridge you can see the Caribbean and the Atlantic Ocean at their meeting point, each a different and spectacular shade of blue.

History of Diving Museum (Located in Islamorada)
When you tire of sprawling on the beach, head into this cool dark and interesting museum that features diving equipment dating back hundreds of years. Even non divers will be interested in the impressive collection of perfectly preserved artefacts and devices. Its size makes it a perfectly manageable excursion that won’t eat up your whole day.
